Born 16 November 1911 in Horn (E). Died 15 April 1912 in Titanic. Ernest Gilbert was born on the 16th of November 1911 in Horn (E). His last place of sojourn was Gothenburg before the travel to Southampton, where he along with his family went on board the Titanic as third-class passengers on Wednesday the 3rd of April, 1912 with the ticket nr.347080. When Titanic sank, Gilbert Danbom was 4 months and 30 days old. The destination was Stanton in the United States. Gilbert died at the loss of the ship. His body was never found. A child from Titanic that was found earlier has been assessed as a belonging to an older child, but new information maintains that the body belongs to a baby. It is believed that the child may be the lacking Gilbert Danbom. DNA- testing has been initiated.
