Nils Johan Nilsson.
Born 20 June 1865 in Spinga, Tidersrum (E).
Died 1940 in Motala (E).
Parents: Magnus Vilhelm Nilsson and Karolina Josefina Eriksdotter. Sponsors at the
christening: Farmer Johannes Andersson and his wife Kristina Sofia Svensdotter in Norrhult,
the farmhand Samuel August from Klef and the maid Kristina Matilda Andersdotter ibm. Johan's
parents moved in 1868 from the crofter's holding Spingan number 48 in Söderhult, which was
a soldier's small-holding, to Horva, and Johan was three years old at that time and his sister
Anna Lovisa was one year old. Horva in the parish of Tidersrum (Tirserum) included 1/4
assessment unit of land and is said to be a homestead of state tax. In 1873 the family moved
to Lindefall in Södra Vi, Småland. Johan was almost eight years of age at that time and
another sister had been born in Horva 1871-03-19 : Karolina Matilda. Later the family Nils
Johan's father (Magnus Vilhelm) bought a farm called Hagstugan near Trångrössle, Södra Vi
(H), where his future wife, Hilma, spent her time growing up. When Nils Johan was going to
begin school, he was sent to a village called Ramsefall about 2 miles from Lindefall. He was
board and lodge a school pupil there. As time went by Johan and Hilma met and they married
1898-05-05 in Trångrössle. They moved to Örsåsa, where Hanna Linnea was born. Then they
left and went to Låxbo and later on to Trångrössle. Nils Johan's son, Henry, has pointed out
that his father was one of the participants in the march of farmers to the castle in Stockholm
1914-02-06. In March 1924 Nils Johan and his family moved to the farm Djurkälla near Motala.
The farm had good tilled land and a good deal of wooded ground. Nils Johan ran a sawmill -
often used by the local farmers when they wanted their timber sawed up. Nils Johan was sick
the last years - he suffered from enclosed tuberculosis and got more and more disabled and
weak. He died in 1940 and is buried at the cemetery of Motala.

Henry Johan Henryd (Nilsson).
Born 27 January 1903 in Låxbo, Södra Vi (H).
Died 2 May 1982 in Trollhättan (P).
Henry was born in 1903 in Låxbo(H). He grew up at Trångrössle, Södra Vi (H). As a child he
was interested in religious things. He passed through an evangelist course in 1923,1924, a
mission school in Finland 1925-27. Then he was an evangelist in the province of Östergötland,
he was a pastor in Malmö Betlehemsförsamling 1928-31, a secretary of the youth mission in
Jämtland and Härjedalen 1932-34, a pastor in Stugsund, Ljusne-Ala and Askesta in
Hälsingland 1934-38, Sollefteå missionsförsamling 1938-1947 in Ångermanland, Ljungby
missionsförsamling in the south-west of Småland 1947-56, director of the district of
Västernorrland and Jämtland of Sv.Missionskyrkan 1956-1968, stationed in Härnösand.
When Henry retired he and his wife moved to Trollhättan, where their daughter Anita and her
husband Ben Benson lived. He served as a vacancy pastor in Mariestad and Lidköping.
Henryd died in Trollhättan after a long period of illness on the 2nd of May 1982 and is buried
there.

Sigurd Nilsson.
Born 17 August 1905 in Låxbo, Södra Vi (H).
Died 19 November 1981 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Sigurd became a baker and confectioner. He had a bakery and a shop in
Stockholm. During the Cold War he was convinced that the future was in USA. He emigrated
with his family in the fifties to America and settled in Chicago, where he died in 1981. His family
are still in USA. He was married two times. His second wife survived him and took care of the
children, Birgitta, Göran, Sture and Kerstin. The latter two have graduated and taken a
master exam like the first-born Birgitta, who was very active in the Salvation Army in USA. She
was for some time top chief of the Swedish branch of the Salvation Army. She has later been a
part of the international staff of the Salvation Army in London.

Hanna Linnea Carlson (Nilsson).
Born 17 September 1907 in Låxbo, Södra Vi (H).
Died 11 March 2006 in Delray Beach, Florida, USA.
Linnea Nilsson and Carl Carlson were married
in Sweden and emigrated to America in 1930. After some time in USA, they went back to
Sweden to study in Stockholm to be physiotherapists. They returned to America, where they
worked in their profession. Moved to Florida in 1939, where they lived for many years. Carl
Carlson died on the 7th of March 2002 and Linnea Carlson on the 11th of March 2006, both in
Delray Beach. They had two children: Carlo V., b. 1933 and Linne A., b. 1936.

Rut Elisabeth Nilsson.
Born 1 November 1909 in Trångrössle, Södra Vi (H).
Died 23 January 1986 in Motala (E).
Rut was born in 1909 at Trångrössle, Södra Vi
(H) as one of Nils Johan's and Hilma's middle children. She got sick during World War 2 and
lived many years without recovering. She never married but stayed in her parental home with
her mother Hilma after the death of her father Nils Johan in 1940. Then they lived at the farm
Djurkälla some distance from the city of Motala. Eventually the farm was sold and Hilma and
Rut moved to Motala. Hilma died in 1960 and she is like her husband Nils Johan buried in
Motala. In 1986 Rut passed away and is buried in Motala.

Eva (Selma) Bladelius (Nilsson-Svensson).
Born 21 December 1911 in Trångrössle, Södra Vi (H).
Died 28 October 1998.

Alice Berglund (Nilsson).
Born 21 January 1915 in Trångrössle, Södra Vi (H).
Died 11 October 2003 in Motala (E).
Alice, who was the youngest of the
children, married factory owner Torsten Berglund. They settled down in Motala, where
her husband had his factory. They got two children: Lola and Kaj. Alice passed away on the
11th of October 2003 in Motala, where she is buried.
