Married Albertina Karolina Svensdotter 1875-12-29. Moved to Södra Vi from Örsbo
1876-03-14. Fulfilled two weeks' of military service. Changed his surname to Svensson,
perhaps in connection with the marriage to Albertina Karolina Svensdotter on the 29th of
December,1875. Their daughter Hilma Svensson was born 1876-12-01 in Trångrössle, Södra
Vi (H).

Hilma Ottilia Svensson was born on the 1st of
December, 1876 in Trångrössle, Södra Vi (H). She was baptized on the 3rd of December.
Sponsors: Greta Svensdotter, Örsebo, worker Per August Johansson, the farmhand August
Johansson, Slitshult, the maid Kristina Johansdotter. She grew up in Trångrössle and was
confirmed in 1891 when she was 15 years old. She met Nils Johan, who was from the
neighbourhood, and they married and the wedding lasted for three days. Their first child,
Hanna Linnea, was born in Örsebo and the next two children, Henry and Linnea, were born in
Låxbo and the youngest ones in Trångrössle. Hilma was a hard-working, good and competent
farmer's wife with a disposition for practical things. We grandchildren rememeber her as a
woman who had many irons in the fire, always at top speed. The Nilsson family moved to
Djurkälla outside Motala in 1924, a farm with a wondeful view over lake Vättern. After her
husbands dead the farm was eventually sold and Hilma moved with her daughter Rut to
Motala. They lived for many years in the same house at Jungfru Isbergsgatan as her youngest
daughter Alice and her family. In 1960 Hilma Ottilia passed away and is buried at Motala
cemetery.
