Born 1 November 1811 in Krutebo, Tidersrum (E).
Died 6 March 1844 in Boås utjord, Kisa (E). Nils Magnus Månsson was born 1/11 and christened 3/11 1811. His parents were the farmer Måns Nilsson and his wife Lena Jönsdotter at Krutebo, Tidersrum (E).Sponsors were the farmer Peter Johansson in Björkefall, the farmhand Sven Svensson in Rödjeholm, the wife Brita Sam(uels)dotter in Krutebo, the daughter Ingeborg Nilsdotter there. Nils Magnus had a sister, who was called Stina Månsdotter and was marrried to the farmer Anders Danbom. They had a son named Magnus August Danbom, who later emigrated to America. His son Ernst (Ernest) Danbom died on board the Titanic in 1912. Another sibling was Johan Petter Månsson in Kättestorp, who was the father of Johan Viktor Johansson who also was a farmer in Kättestorp. Nils Magnus was married 27 years old to Anna Lena Persdotter in 1839 and they had a son, Magnus Vilhelm. When he was 32 years of age Nils Magnus died in Boås in Kisa (E). In the death register of Kisa of 1844 you can read: "Nils Magnus Månsson, living free of charge at Boås. Born 1811-11-01. Married in 1839 to Anna Lena Persdotter and has a son with her. He has ben doing his housekeeping badly and has become insolvent. Buried 17th of March. 32 years old. Cause of death: tuberculosis." According to the register of the parish catechetical meeting of Boås utjord in Kisa (E) 1844 his day of death is said to be 1844-03-06. |
