Born 28 September 1887 in Lerum (P). Died 8 October 1975 in Härlanda (O). Markus Martinsson was a businessman and managed a country shop in Vargön near Trollhätttan for some time. Later on he was an active businessman in Gothenburg. He was 88 years of age at his death in 1975.

Ester Samuel-Martinsson was born in 1904 in Minnesota, USA, where her father was a pastor for some years. Ester's family moved to Mellerud, Sweden in 1908 and at that time the family was expanded with a son, Clarence. Ester was married on the 1st of November 1931 to the businessman Markus Martinsson. They had two daughters, Maj and Gun. Ester died in 1984 in Gothenburg, where she even is buried.
