Ida Sofia was the 7th child of the family. She was born in Bråten in the parish of Varnum 1879-10-20. She went to America in 1900 och came to know Samuel Peterson, who had been studying at the Chicago Theological Seminary to become a pastor. They married on the 28th of April 1903 in Minnesota and Samuel served as pastor in several congregations (Flensburg, Little Falls, Lake City etcetera). In 1908 he accepted an invitation from Mellerud, Sweden, to come and serve as a pastor there and the family moved to Sweden the same year. With the children, who were born in America, the family consisted of 8 persons altogether, mom, dad, five girls and a boy. Ida and Samuel moved to Limhamn, Malmö, where Samuel served until he was retired. Ida died 1967-10-31 88 years old and is buried in Malmö..

Samuel Petersson was born in Stensviken, Bjurtjärn (T) in 1874 as the first child of A.W. Petersson. His father was a very well-known lay-preacher in Värmland and one of the great pioneers of the free churchly movement there. Samuel went in 1893 to USA, where he was converted at meetings in a newly formed congregation in Lynn, Boston. He eventually returned home to Sweden again, but in 1899 he went to USA to study at the Chicago Theological Seminary to become a pastor. After three years of study he graduated and met as a newly-fledged pastor his wife to be, Ida Seaquist.They married on the 28th of April 1903 in Minnesota and Samuel served as pastor in several congregations as Flensburg, Freedhem, Randall, Little Falls and Lake City. In 1908 he accepted an invitation from Mellerud, Sweden, to come and serve as a pastor there and the family moved the same year to Sweden. Samuel became a well-known pastor in Dalsland and Värmland. Samuel moved in 1920 to Limhamn, Malmö with his family, which now consisted of 8 persons including the two children born in USA: mom, dad, five girls and a boy. Samuel stayed in Malmö until he was retired. He passed away in 1958 almost 84 years old and is buried in Limhamn.

Ester Samuel-Martinsson was born in 1904 in Minnesota, USA, where her father was a pastor for some years. Ester's family moved to Mellerud, Sweden in 1908 and at that time the family was expanded with a son, Clarence. Ester was married on the 1st of November 1931 to the businessman Markus Martinsson. They had two daughters, Maj and Gun. Ester died in 1984 in Gothenburg, where she even is buried.

Annie was born in 1910 as number three in the family of Samuel and Ida Peterson in Mellerud, Dalsland. She went to school there but the family moved to Malmö when she was ten years old and when she ended school she worked in a haberdasher's shop for a while. Annie met her future husband, Henry Henryd, in Malmö, where he served as a pastor in one of the churches belonging to Sv. Missionsförbundet, Betlehemskyrkan, in Malmö. They married in 1931 and moved to Lit in Jämtland and then to Söderhamn in Hälsingland. During this time the family's three children were born, Karin, Lars and Anita. They grew up in Sollefteå in Ångermanland and Ljungby in Småland, where Henry served as a pastor. After their residence in Ljungby Henry and Annie moved back to Norrland, this time to Härnösand, where Henry served as a superintendent of the district of Västernorrland. When pensioned Henry and Annie moved to Trollhättan, where Annie was living until she died in 1998. Like her husband she is buried at the cemetery of Håjum in Trollhättan.

Kajsa was the youngest child in the family and only one year old when her parents in 1920 moved to Limhamn, Malmö, in Skåne, Sweden. Since her father Samuel was a minister at the church of Svenska Missionförbundet in Limhamn, she was early practising singing and music. She met her man to be Per Högberg when visiting her sister Annie in Sollefteå. After the marriage Kajsa moved to Sollefteå and settled down with Per. Soon there were children coming: Ulla-Karin, Per-Arne and Agneta. Like her husband Per she was engaged in the music at the church and was an organist and pianist for many years. She even worked together with Per in the sho shop for a considerable long time. Kajsa is still living in Sollefteå, where even her daugher Agneta lives.
